Teresa was born and raised in South Philadelphia; at the early age of fifteen she became engrossed with Radio. When Teresa was not in school she would telephone requests for songs over the air. Bill Bart a Disc Jockey for 91.7 FM in Philadelphia liked Teresa Summers on-air voice and would invite Teresa to his radio show, Teresa would co-host and announce the listeners phoned in record requests.

Later Bob Charger a Jock discovered her radio talent and helped Teresa in the use of proper English. Teresa later became a co-host for “Studio Six” a Teen dance show that aired over radio and television in Philadelphia, the show was also syndicated in Santa Anna, San Bernardino and Santa Rosa, California. To earn extra money Teresa was a Disc Jockey at the Social club in center city Philadelphia.

Teresa was also a Disc Jockey for WOND and worked as a talent coordinator for a television variety show on WWAC TV in Atlantic City.

Outside of radio Teresa was offered the motion picture role Mrs. Vitale in “Tony’s and Tina’s Wedding” but due to other commitments could not comply.

Currently Teresa Summers is hosting and producing her own radio show, “UpStage” an entertainment talk show over radio station WVLT-FM in Vineland/Philadelphia. UpStage will become syndicated this fall.

Other things to know about Teresa:

1. Traveled to Europe, Just to say she went.
2. Was a member of a Rock Group called “Club Zero”
3. Loves and Collects Dolls, Snow Shakers and Lighthouses.
4. Resides at the Jersey Shore with her Husband Richard and two Children, Melanie and Ashley.
5. Love’s Animals but is allergic to them.
6. Will accept money donations for herself.
