AMERICAN MUSIC LEGEND CHRIS LEDOUX PREPARES FOR ANOTHER CHALLENGE

Chris Undergoing Treatment for Cancer

NASHVILLE – November 4, 2004-American music legend, and rodeo champion Chris LeDoux  is preparing to take on another health battle. LeDoux is undergoing radiation therapy for cancer.
He has only cancelled three shows while he undergoes the required treatment but is fully expected to be back performing his legendary live shows as soon as possible.

"I know it’s going to be tough" said Chris, "but I’m confident that I can put this behind me, and get back to my regular ranch and concert schedule."

In 2000, Chris LeDoux was diagnosed with a liver disease that eventually required him to undergo a liver transplant. He beat the odds and was soon back to doing what he loves –
performing and being on the road. "The road energizes you," he once told Billboard magazine. "There’s something about Hercules getting his strength from the earth and I get mine from just
moving.  If you’re stuck in the same spot every day, life can get pretty humdrum and you lose your appreciation for life.  I like being on the road and seeing new faces."

Keith Urban’s Be Here Turns Platinum; Six Week Certification One Of The Fastest Of The Year

In just its sixth week on the charts, Keith Urban’s Be Here has solidified its position as one of the year’s fastest selling albums.  Certified Platinum this week by the R.I.A.A. Be Here marks
Urban’s third consecutive Platinum recording and places his total sales near 5 million worldwide.  Be Here, released on September 21st, has already firmly established Urban’s position as a
force with which to be reckoned, garnering unanimous critical praise.  The album has produced his 5th overall #1 hit, "Days Go By," and its #1 debut chart position on Billboard’s Country Album
Chart marked the highest debut position of his career.  The album also debuted at #3 on Billboard’s Top 200 Album Chart.

"Platinum now feels like but a small building block in this incredible career," said Mike Dungan, President and CEO of Capitol Records Nashville.  "We are just getting started with what will no
doubt be remembered as one of the biggest records in Capitol history!"

Co-produced by Dann Huff and Keith Urban, the album includes nine tracks written or co-written by Urban, including the recently released second single, "You’re My Better Half," co-written with
John Shanks.

Urban has been celebrating unprecedented success of late.  His previous album, Golden Road, which after more then 100 weeks on the album charts, has been certified Double Platinum, as
has his self-titled debut.  In addition, Urban’s last 8 singles have all charted Top 5 on the Hot Country Singles Chart including 5 #1’s within that span of time.

Urban will take time out of his first headline tour, CMT ON TOUR: KEITH URBAN BE HERE ’04, next week to perform at the CMA’s, where he is also nominated for Top Male Vocalist.  For
