Salaam Love the newest member of The Blue Notes was born in Philadelphia, PA. It was evident during his youth that being a vocalist would be his chosen field. As a child he emulated hte groups of the era on the street corners of North Philly, singing “Do Wop” tunes. Salaam has been involved formally as a vocalist since the age of fourteen and has graced more than half the world with his music and dance. Among his many talents, he is well known for his choreographic skills, which he shares by coaching and counseling among his peers. Salamm was also a group member of the Delfonics. |
LARRY BROWN: Also a native Philadelphian, Larry has been an original Blue Note for more than thirty five years. Singing and dancing are as natural to Larry as walking and talking. He is a popular figure in the field of entertainment and blends his talents beautifully with the Blue Notes. Larry has been skillful in slipping in that added touch on stage, he takes his work seriously and is a professional in the field. |
LLOYD PARKS: Also a native Philadelphian, Lloyd is that high tenor voice that has been heard around the world. He has traveled extensively, bringing joy and happiness to millions. I’ve always wanted to sing and dance for an international audience since I was a child. For Lloyd that became a desire that evolved into a reality. At the age of fifteen he took his destiny into his own hands and began his career. Lloyd is also an original Blue Note. He has been with the group for more than twenty years. | ARTHUR AIKENS: Also a native Philadelphia, Arthur was born under the sign of Sagitarius. He has been singing almost from the time that he was three years old. Being raised in the midst of many talented peers. Arthur had to develop endurance which enhanced his inborn drive, determination and persistence. His force stems from the knowledge that he is an excellent vocalist. Arthur has made a phenomenal impression on audiences around the World. |
