“Billboard Chart Buster”
“Show And Tell”

After eight albums and eight Top 100 Hits, Al Wilson is back in the mix with, not just originals, but powerhouse originals, to make you dance, to make you think, to make you want to love. The Snake, says Al, I had to record. It’s my all time favorite record that you can’t find. Show and Tell was mandatory. I’m not complaining because, I thank all the song writers, (Jerry Fuller, Oscar Brown) for the privilege of recording their songs.

But, when you’re creatively involved it just adds so much more to everything. I’ve always admired those artist who wrote and recorded their own songs, like the late great Don Julian and the king, Stevie Wonder.

I thank God at this stage of my career to be able to write and record my own songs and feelings. When I first sat down to write, my reflection started in Meridian, Miss. and the feelings just took over from there. I tried to incorporate my love for variety in every feeling, because every song has its own feeling. Short Stakes And Bad Breaks/ Harry’s Lament, an old friend use to use that saying (short stakes and bad breaks) so I wrote this blues song to honor him. Weeping in the City was very easy because it was almost a documentary of the conditions in our streets today.

Desires/ I’ll Wait For You, well you gotta hear it. I hope you enjoy each and every one.

I sincerely thank: Patti, Tony, Joe & Lynn, Joe & Rhonda, Stan & Kim, Donna & Dave, Destiny and Don & Ronnie for their support.

Al Wilson
